Bringing this thread back up to the top.

The apostle John wrote… My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father Yahweh, Yah-Shua Messiah the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. Anyone that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in them. But whoso keepeth His word, in him verily is the love of Elohim perfected: hereby know we are in Him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. ( 1 John 2:1-6).

Whosoever believeth that Yah-Shua is the Messiah is born of Elohim: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of Elohim, when we love Elohim, and keep His commandments. For this is the love of Elohim, that we keep His commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. ( 1 John 5:1-3 ).

Can you imagine, people who say, that the commandments are abolished, are in fact saying, Messiah and the love of Elohim is abolished too!

No wonder there is so much murder and violence in this world today, because people have been taught, that the commandments are no longer valid.

Anyone that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in them. So says John the Apostle.

Here is what the true Messiah said of John the Baptist. But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet. For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. Matthew 11:9-11; See also Mark 1:2; Luke 7:27.

Which O.T. scriptures did Messiah and these Disciples quote this above from?

Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD(YAHWEH) of hosts. Malachi 3:1.

And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias(Eliyah) must first come? And Yah-Shua answered and said unto them, Elias (Eliyah) truly shall first come, and restore all things. But I say unto you, That Elias (Eliyah) is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them . Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist. Matthew 17:10-13; See also Mark 9:11-13.

Which O.T. scriptures is Messiah and these Disciples referring to above?

Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you Elijah (Eliyah) the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD ( YAHWEH=H3068 )(come) And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. Malachi 4:4-6.

What name did John the Baptist come proclaiming before Messiah to come?

Here is what the Disciple Matthew wrote: In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias (Isaiah), saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of YAHWEH, make his paths straight. Matthew 3:1-3; See also Mark 1:2-4; Luke 3:2-6; John 1:23.

Which scripture are these Disciple above referring to in the O.T.?

The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD (YAHWEH=H3068), make straight in the desert a highway for our God (Elohim). Isayah 40:3.

Even the angel Gabriel will also testify to this fact of scriptures!

But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. For he shall be great in the sight of YAHWEH, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb. And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to YAHWEH their Elohim. And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias (Eliyah), to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for Yah-Shua. And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of Elohim; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.... And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins Luke 1:11-77.

    It is Messiah YAH-SHUA!

    Hallelu-YAH!!

    Guyguy,

Yea, I probably should have, but you or others can use this scriptural information and do so, because I do not have a copyright on the scriptures.
